Live Aqua Cancun’s Feel Harmony Spa is an invitation to pure tranquility with 12 indoor and four outdoor treatment areas. 50 minutes is the shortest massage duration and the most indulgent goes on for 100 blissful minutes. The 50-minute fusion medium-pressure massage is a popular choice. The hydrotherapy ritual, included with every treatment, lasts between 40 to 60 minutes.

Stocked with both TechnoGym and Life Fitness equipment, the gym is right next to the salon and perfect for a solid workout, whether you’re lifting, running, or cycling off last night’s margaritas. There are no in-gym classes, but you can take advantage of a varied fitness calendar that includes outdoor yoga, archery, beach volleyball, and water aerobics. 7) Who it’s right for & what to pack

Grown-ups only. Expect to see babymooners, fun-loving groups, wedding parties, and shoppers lured by the potential retail therapy at nearby Luxury Avenue and La Isla Mall. But note that there is no need for ostentatious designer garments here. The clientele is well-heeled, but the atmosphere is laid back and fun. MB and Hidden Garden are on the fancier side, so something a little dressier (but still effortless) works well. Reef shoes are a good idea if you’re venturing beyond the resort to swim in cenotes (natural sinkholes) that are dotted across the Yucatán Peninsula. Note that you won’t be able to wear sunscreen when swimming in these fragile ecosystems. Eco-friendly, reef-safe sunscreen is always recommended in case you go somewhere like Isla Mujeres’ Garrafon Natural Reef Park or Cozumel’s Chankanaab Park, where that’s all that’s allowed.
